Privacy policy

This page explains what Nor Pac Sports Network collects when you visit this site, why, and how long it is kept. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.

What we collect

Nothing at all unless you give it to us or the page needs it to work. There is no account to create and nothing to log in to.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your browser, and does not build a profile of you across sites. We see totals and page addresses, not people. We do not use Google Analytics.

Forms

Two forms on this site send us information. The quote form asks for your name, organization, email, an optional phone number, and details about the work you want done. The email signup asks for your address and, if you clicked a reminder button, which broadcast you were looking at.

What you send is stored in our database, emailed to us, and used to reply to you and, for the signup, to tell you when a broadcast is going live. It is not sold, rented or shared with anyone else. Both forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated submissions; Turnstile checks the request, not you, and sets no advertising cookies.

Quote requests are kept while the enquiry is live and for two years afterwards, so we can pick up a conversation that restarts. Signup addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your details at any time by writing to hello@norpacsn.com.

Advertising

Articles and podcast episodes carry advertising through Google AdSense. No other page does: not the home page, broadcasts, services, this page or the forms. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your previous visits to this and other sites. You can turn personalised advertising off at google.com/settings/ads, and opt out of third-party vendors at aboutads.info. Turning it off does not remove the ads; it makes them less relevant.

Video

Broadcasts and clips are embedded from YouTube on its privacy-enhanced domain, which means YouTube does not set tracking cookies until you press play. Nothing autoplays. Once you play a video, YouTube's own terms and privacy policy apply.

Email

Mail sent to an address on this domain is routed to our inbox. We read it and reply. We do not use read receipts or tracking pixels.

Children

This site covers school and junior sport, so young people read it. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Substantial changes will be noted on the page rather than made quietly.
